Capstone "G Series" Dock Leveller
Client
Front Kerb Angle Blow occurs when the dock leveller pit fails under the pressure of the working dock leveller. Some dock levellers on the Austtralian market are designed in such a way that their load force is greatest at the front of the dock leveller, this places extreme pressure on the front kerb angle and can lead to front kerb angle blow (as pictured below).

My Role
Capstone’s design engineers have spend considerable time reviewing issues experienced by customers with their docking equipment. Adding this information to the feedback provided by our highly experienced field service team, our engineers developed our “G Series” range which is the next generation in dock levellers. Capstone’s “G Series” Dock leveller is designed transfer operational forces away from the front of dock leveller preventing damage to the front of the dock pit.
